# The real estate brokerage industry

After agriculture, real estate is India's second-largest employer. Every year, it generates INR 15 billion in brokerage revenues. Real estate brokerage to grow to INR 50 billion per annum by 2025.

Changes in property purchasing patterns have also occurred. Before, folks would wait until retirement or later to purchase a property. Having a home was considered a retirement strategy. People are now investing in homes at the age of 35, and the average age is gradually decreasing to 28 years. The present generation is aware of the advantages of real estate and is beginning to invest early.

Investors have been drawn to real estate by factors such as hassle-free home financing, lower interest rates, and RERA security. Real estate has gained a lot of entrepreneurial potential because of all of this.
