# Market overview

Worldwide real estate sector is one of the most recognized sectors. It comprises of four sub-sectors: housing, retail, hospitality, and commercial. The advancement of the corporate environment and the demand for office spaces, as well as urban and semi-urban accommodations fuelled the growth. Real estate industry ranks third among the 14 major sectors in by direct, indirect, and induced effect in all sectors of the economy.

Indian Ecosystem - After agriculture, the real estate sector creates the second-highest number of jobs in India. This industry is also likely to attract huge non-resident Indian (NRI) investment, both in the short and long term. The factor fueling real estate demand in India --(-)

NITI Aayog expects that the Indian real estate sector will reach a market size of $1 trillion by 2030 and will account for 13 per cent of India’s GDP by 2025.
